Ember’s Wake was born from a shared connection to the water, a respect for hard work, and a desire to create something that lasts.

Our story is shaped by different beginnings and shared values. Countless hours spent fishing and life on the water fostered patience, perseverance, and an appreciation for doing things right. Those roots also reach back to Maryland’s Eastern Shore, where one grandfather worked the waters, crabbing and oystering, while another farmed the land and raised a large family. That legacy of resilience, integrity, and hard work was passed down through generations, shaping the values we carry forward today.
